We have discussed several topics. Some of the suggested topics from my students were dogs, cats, rocks, church, video games, coal and coal trucks.
We've discussed several other topics, however we are settling more into the topic of coal. I have several students who have parents or relatives who work in or near caol mines, therefore we have decided on the topic of coal. There are several retired miners in our area who we plan to use as resources. A couple of our students have relatives who drive coal trucks. The train passes our center and on many days it is transporting coal. We hope to incorporate some information on coal transportation as well.
